Renaissance’s Biography
Acoustic punk rocker Renaissance delivers a powerful energetic performance, His unmatched stage presence and vocals just make you want to riot. Renaissance has been influenced heavily by Aussie pub rock and punk. Born in Washington D.C.and growing up in Newcastle and cities around the world renaissance has had the opportunity to work and play with renowned local and international bands and artists. Some Renaissances influences include Frank Zappa, NOFX, NIN, SOAD & the Angels. For many years now Renaissance has been playing bass for progressive gourmet comic rock outfit Aroldytes Revenge and has now decided to produce some additional material, collaborating with Aroldytes Revenge front man Peter Bird. The writing duo has been working with sound engineer Steve Dawson to produce and remix their work. Look forward to some new releases by Renaissance Bird including '...Palace Walls' and 'Still Look Good'.

Biography – Peter Bird
Ever since he was born, Peter has had a passion towards music and creativity. At the age of 3, he invited himself to conduct the Christchurch Cathedral Choir, and has been thoroughly involved in all music aspects and areas since. Joining Aroldytes Revenge in high school, Peter evolved his abilities to include fronting one of the most controversial punk bands in existence. Peter has made several television appearances, including soloist and winner of Channel 7’s Battle of the choirs, which he performed with the internationally acclaimed Newcastle University Chamber Choir. After several years, Peter and Renaissance (Bass player from Aroldytes.)became DJs, building up their Repertoire, and Producing songs and sounds for a new age!
Peter is happily married, and shares a beautiful baby boy with his wonderful wife.
